Ronald Busby

Mr. Busby is the President and CEO of the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC) and is a member of MEOA’s Audit and Compensation Committees. As chief executive of the country’s largest minority business association, Mr. Busby brings business management skills and a lifetime of economic development experience to the organization. Based in Washington, DC, with Chamber affiliations and members in more than 40 states, Mr. Busby has built USBC on five pillars of service: Advocacy, Access to Capital, Contracting, Entrepreneur Training, and Local Chamber Development.

Prior to his role at USBC, Mr. Busby formed and operated two successful service industry companies – one of the companies, USA Superclean, was recognized as the largest Black-owned janitorial firm in the country. Mr. Busby has also held senior-level management positions at Exxon, Xerox, IBM, and Coca-Cola USA.

 

Mr. Busby serves on the Pfizer Small Business Council, Macy’s Supplier Diversity Advisory Council, the National Newspapers Publishers Association Foundation Board of Directors, and the White House African American Leadership Council. He also has served on the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Council on Underserved Communities. 

 

A native of Oakland, California, Mr. Busby holds a BA from Florida A&M University and an MBA from Clark Atlanta University. He is the past Chairman and President of the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce, a member of the National Urban League, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.
